The Bhagavad Gita

The Bhagavad Gita forms part of the Indian epic the Mahabharata and is written in the form of a dialogue between Prince Arjuna and his friend Krishna, who is also an early incarnation of the god Vishnu.

The poem consists of 700 Sanskrit verses in 18 chapters and is one of the most revered of the Hindu scriptures.
