LIVIUS 59 B.C. - A.D. 17 Roman Historian Titus Livius (also Livy) wrote a history of Rome (142 Books) from the foundation of Rome until 9 BC. He spent most of his life in Rome where he wrote the work that became a classic in his own lifetime. Livius treated history from a moral standpoint, reshaping events into episodes to reveal the characters of leading figures. |
