A History of the Apple company

The Apple I was Steven Wozniak's first contribution to the personal computer field. After his friend Steve Jobs insisted it could be sold the Apple debuted in April 1976 for a price of $ 666.00. It was followed by several improved Apple models until the Macintosh arrived in 1984, the first affordable computer to include a Graphical User Interface.

Launched in 1991 the PowerBook 100 was the first portable Mac.

The iMac (1998) - in a stylish new case design - was designed with the internet in mind.

Announced in 2001, the iPod represented Apple's first strike into the digital music market, while the iPhone (2007) marked the entry of Apple into the cellular phone marketplace.
